"I've been absolutely terrified every moment of my life - and I've never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do."
Georgia O'Keeffe

My Story
I am an undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. in Psychology and Minor in Statistics at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA (Class of 2022).
My passion for consumer behavior and business analysis stemmed from my childhood hobbies: writing, giving presentations to my parents about my art pieces, and sketching fashion designs. I used to change my drawings as per people's suggestions and over time I was able to analyze what seemed attractive to each individual. This led me to delve deeper into psychology and in turn, consumer behavior. I was able to convert those passions into my drive towards learning more about business analysis and learning more about customer requirements.
I believe that the way something is presented greatly influences how people will react to it. With the great number of data sets that exist in today's finance and business world, my curiosity drives my brain as I search for, and eventually discover answers about why certain tactics work better than others. Data that is so readily available can be used to statistically determine how to improve our brand.

Cognitive Science Student Advisory Board
Executive Board Member
The Cognitive Science Advisory Board plays the role of intermediary between students in the major and administration. Students on the board can answer questions from prospective students and field comments from current students. We also help to plan upcoming campus events to establish a strong and well-knit Cognitive Science community on campus. By working closely with administration, we are able to manage expenses and collaborate with other clubs on campus.
